Additional Info | Once in San Isidro del General you have to take another bus to Dominical (Transportes Blanco, Tel.: 771 2550). Schedule 7:00, 8:00 AM, 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM. The terminal for Dominical is located 500 mts south of the MUSOC terminal in San Isidro. You must travel from San Jose to San Isidro on the morning bus in order to catch the afternoon bus to Dominical. Otherwise, you’d have to spend the night in San Isidro. This route is more comfortable than traveling the coast from San Jose to Dominical by bus. Another option is taking a taxi to Dominical from San Isidro ($40 U.S.). |

The Pavones bus departs 100 mts east of the TRACOPA terminal.
Another option is getting off at Kilometro 14 at Rio Claro and catch the Pavones bus at the intersection. This option is only valid if you are on-time, before 2:00 PM at Kilometro 14. Make reservations one day ahead. You must personally go to the terminal and buy your ticket. The schedule of arrivals at Golfito is irregular, thus it is not recommended to travel on a tight schedule. |
